La petite fille de Monsieur Linh

Philippe Claudel / Guy Cassiers

25 > 31.05.2018
Theatre

Monsieur Linh has taken refuge in Europe with his granddaughter after bombing has destroyed his country and wiped out the rest of his family. Totally powerless in the face of the integration laws in his host country, unable even to master the language, he is sitting on a bench when he meets another man traumatised by war, a former soldier who had helped to destroy his country...

In this adaptation of the novel by Philippe Claudel, therefore, Guy Cassiers remains faithful to his principle: “what is said isn’t shown, and what is shown doesn’t need to be said”.
