Fore !

Aleshea Harris / Arnaud Meunier

29 > 31.03.2018
Theatre

For this first French-American piece, Arnaud Meunier collaborates with the talented « spoken word » artist, Aleshea Harris, to create Fore!, a modern-day Oresteia written by the young African American author (who was recently awarded the prestigious Relentless Award).

The new project tells the tale of two families, where the patriarchs are, respectively, men of considerable power.

Carried by ten young performers from around the world – five graduates from L’École de la Comédie, and five graduates from CalArts, in Los Angeles – Fore! is not just a biting comedy about hubris and folly.

In this vibrant manifesto, through a classic chorus, these young artists will recount their doubts and questions faced with the current state of today’s society.
