Privacy policy

The Théâtre National is responsible for processing the personal data collected mainly via its website (online sales) or its subscription form (paper version). Personal data may vary as the case may be: civility, name, gender, age, language, residence, contact details, bank account number, title, employer, audiovisual data related to possible recordings of shows and/or to control accesses and locations security, data related to past orders, including, where appropriate, those concerning the management of potential litigation.

Most of the time, these data are collected directly from the people involved, either via the corresponding forms, or via the cameras (e.g. safety) or other means of electronic communication that are being used. Sometimes, they can be collected from other sources, such as another cultural institution with which we would work.

These data are not transferred to third parties, apart from service providers and partners whom we work with in the frame of our activities, such as our web provider, our booking and online purchase service provider or a bank as a part of a secured payment, or any other cultural institution with which we would propose a collaboration/joint offer of performances or, where appropriate, public authorities, and this in accordance with the law. The Théâtre National processes your personal data in order to satisfy to the necessary needs of booking, of customer management, of human resources management and of statistics. It may also use these data for promotions as part of direct marketing (automated processing in order to announce future performances and specific promotion).

Data are processed on the basis of consent (opt-in) of the person involved, for contractual requirements (implementation of the bookings) between the parties and/or to comply with legal obligations that apply to us, or even to pursue our legitimate interests. Consent can be withdrawn at any time on simple request. Failing to provide such personal data might prevent the Théâtre National to perform all or part of the above objectives.

According to regulations in force, as an individual, you have the right to access your personal data, to correct them, to request their removal. You also have the right to limit their processing and to object to their processing for direct marketing purposes. In specific cases, you are also entitled the portability of your data, that is to say they are communicated in a common structured format. Except in cases of abuse or manifestly unfounded claims, the exercise of these rights is free. If need be, you can send us your request to exercise any of your rights, report a problem regarding your data or ask us to consult the privacy policy related to other categories of individuals affected by our activities (e.g. such as "Supplier"):

Personal data processed will only be kept for the time necessary to meet the purposes indicated or to comply with the legal obligations of the Théâtre National.

The Théâtre National ensures its best efforts to take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect those data.

In general, the data concerned are not subject to a transfer outside the country member of the European Union. However, if that were the case, the Théâtre National will then set up other appropriate safeguards about which the persons concerned can ask to learn more.

 

Within the limits described here above, the Théâtre National is allowed to keep and process personal data collected on your visit of the website www.theatrenational.be or its online booking service provider website (https://indiv.themisweb.fr/0365/fListeManifs.aspx?idstructure=0365&EventId=0) or collected from the customer account or on the subscription form you filled in or asked us to fill in, in the course of a booking.

 

 

Privacy policy related to personal data linked to the Troika Pass.

The Théâtre National, the Monnaie and the KVS are "joint controllers" for the processing of personal data related to detaining and using the Troika Pass. That is to say, they determine together the aims linked to this Troika Pass and the means to achieve them. The personal data they jointly process are: name, contact coordinates and potential subscriber status.

In general, those data are collected directly from the persons involved, either through their subscription when they made the Troika Pass request by their operator, or when purchasing their Troika Pass. 

Those data are not transferred to third parties, apart from service providers and partners whom the joint controllers work with, in the frame of their activities linked to the Troika Pass, such as an IT provider or, where appropriate, public authorities, and this in accordance with the law.

The joint controllers process your personal data in order to satisfy to the necessary needs of booking performances, of customer management and of potential discount management.

Data are processed for contractual requirements (e.g. implementation of discounts linked to the Troika Pass) between the parties and/or to comply with legal obligations that apply to the joint controllers, or even to pursue their legitimate interests. Failing to provide such personal data might prevent the joint controllers to perform all or part of the above objectives.

What are cookies?

In accordance with applicable legislation, TN aims to inform users of the website on the use of cookies.

Cookies are small text files that are recorded on the hard drive of the computer/smartphone/tablet of the website user. Which cookies do we use?

TN website uses the following cookies:

  • The "preferred_language" cookie: it is a preference cookie that enables the website to remember your choice of language. This cookie is stored for a period of 1 month.
  • The "cookieconsent_status" cookie: it is a functional cookie that enables the website to remember the choice of whether to display the "cookie banner" or not. This cookie is stored for a period of 1 year.
  • The session cookie "Filegator": this cookie stores the session id of a user who has successfully authenticated on a page to which access is restricted. The cookie expires when the user exits the session.
  • The session cookie "ASP.NET_SessionId": It is a functional cookie that enables the website to remember the session ID of an authenticated user. It allows the user to avoid having to enter his or password with each page loading. The cookie expires when the user exits the session.
  • The Google Analytics cookies ("__ga", "__gid", "gat"): these functional cookies store a unique user id (anonymous) and measure the user interactions with the website. These cookies are respectively stored for a period of 2 years, 24 hours and 1 minute.
