Projects and activities

Projects and activities tailored to all audiences are offered throughout the season.

The Assemblée du National (AdN)

The Assemblée du National brings together around fifteen spectators from diverse backgrounds who attend performances and rehearsals throughout the season. The group then meets regularly to discuss the works they have experienced together. A space to exchange ideas, listen, question, challenge and sometimes surprise one another.

The Ateliers de Pratiques Partagées (APP)

The Les Ateliers de Pratiques Partagées invite audiences to step beyond the role of spectator and take part in moments of exploration and experimentation alongside an artist. These workshops offer a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in an artist’s universe and creative practice (dance, writing, acting, etc.).

Long-term artistic projects

Workshops led by multidisciplinary artists take place throughout the season. Running over several weeks, they are designed for a variety of audiences.

Guided tours

Guided tours of the Théâtre National can be organised upon request. They offer the opportunity to discover its history and architecture, go behind the scenes and gain insight into how a performance is created.

Guided tours of Maison Gertrude Art Centre take place twice a month, on Wednesdays. A ninety-minute experience to discover the permanent artworks co-created by residents, artists and care staff.

Relaxed performances

Relaxed performances offer a welcoming and supportive environment. They are designed to make theatre accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with specific needs or sensitivities. Usual theatre conventions are adapted so that everyone can experience the performance in their own way, free from judgement or constraints.

Daytime performances

Throughout the season, the Théâtre National also offers daytime performances. For those who prefer not to attend evening events, these performances provide the opportunity to enjoy a show without worrying about a late return home.
