Around the performances
Introductions to the performance
To help you better engage with the performance, short introductions take place in our foyers before the show. In just 10 minutes, young emerging theatre professionals (students from art schools or performing arts programmes at ULB) offer insights into the staging, the text, the scenography… and share their passion with you.

Discussions after shows
Our Wednesday discussions after shows offer a unique space for dialogue, where the conversation flows freely from the audience to the stage. It’s an opportunity for spectators to ask questions and share their impressions collectively.
To deepen these exchanges, we invite researchers or guest speakers several times a year for more specialised discussions. These moments fully embody our artistic project, which is, above all, created for our audiences.

Daytime performances
Throughout the season, the Théâtre National offers daytime performances. For those who prefer to avoid evening outings, these shows provide a great opportunity to enjoy the performance without worrying about a late return home.
Relaxed performances
Relaxed performances offer an inclusive and caring welcome. They aim to make it easier for the broadest possible audience to come to the theatre, including those with special needs or sensitivities. The usual rules are relaxed to allow everyone to experience the event in their own way, without fear of judgement or constraints.
