Accessibility arrangements
An accessible theatre
Eager to be accessible to as many people as possible, the Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles does everything it can to welcome everyone in the best possible conditions. If you have any specific requests or needs, please contact the Audience Relations team.
Auditoriums
The Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles has three auditoriums: the Main Auditorium (752 seats), located on the ground floor; the Jacques Huisman Auditorium (252 seats), on the second floor; and the Studio (240 seats), on the fourth floor. Allowing for exceptions, seating is numbered in the Main Auditorium; you choose your seat when you buy your ticket. The other auditoriums, however, have free seating.
Accessibility and adapted seating
Our three auditoriums are accessible to people with reduced mobility, with dedicated seats. In the Main Auditorium, for greater comfort, we offer armless seats providing more space for audience members who require it.
All our areas are accessible for patrons with limited mobility. To ensure the best possible welcome, please inform the Ticket Office at the Théâtre National of your visit in advance.

Audio description
Some performances will be audio described by Audioscenic. This enables audience members with total or partial visual impairment to enjoy our shows.
Amplified sound
The Théâtre National is a Category 3 venue providing amplified sound. To avoid any potential discomfort, earplugs or hearing protection headphones are available free of charge near the auditoriums or at reception.
