CONFÉRENCE / Quelle vérité sur le nucléaire ?
It’s the story of a closed city, a long held secret because it contains a large nuclear complex. Simultaneously to the show, a large panel of experts reminds us that the story of La Mémoire des arbres (the memory of the trees) is not a dystopia: We are alternately manipulated and (silent?) witnesses to catastrophes. Since its beginning, here and elsewhere, the civilian and military nuclear industry is an emblematic example of the use and abuse of many subterfuges to preserve one’s strategic interests.
