The Pride March is meant to give visibility to fundamental sexual freedoms. In Georgia, the pressure is so high that organizing one is a risky affair, thanks to the influence of far-right groups and the Georgian Orthodox Church. The perspective of its entry into the European Union is driving progress, but attitudes are slow to change.
