Là maintenant

Transquin⁣⁣quennal

12 > 16.12.2023
Theatre

Transquinquennal, a famously funny company founded in 1989, has accustomed us to breaking things: breaking down the narrative, tearing down the fourth wall, eliminating hierarchies. Today, it is its own imminent disappearance that it is announcing.

This show is therefore the last creation of Miguel Decleire, Stéphane Olivier and Bernard Breuse. The process that began with the three of them has been enriched by four additional artists: Sara Selma Dolorès, Charlotte Ducousso, Francine Landrain and Alexandra Bouron. The seven of them have imagined a diptych, Là maintenant, that ends here and now, as they welcome the future – what awaits us and what we do not know.

Transquinquennal questions our relationship to others and the possible transformation of the world as we know it. In this ‘final’ play, we explore alternative paths together, starting from a positive observation: if there’s no solution, it’s because there’s no problem.

Dernière

Having rid itself of any commercial leanings, the company is putting on a free show.
