In Malaysia, where queer identities are criminalized, the punk band Shh… Diam! uses music as an act of resistance. Led by Faris Saad, a trans man and the group’s vocalist, Queer as Punk follows its fight over several years to exist, create, and claim their space—between underground gigs, community support, and joyful activism.
