At the age of 90, Katrina Esau is the last person who still speaks N|uu fluently, a San language threatened with extinction. After refraining from speaking it for decades to hide her Indigenous identity, she is now fighting to pass it on to future generations. Through her story, the film reveals the lasting wounds of colonial domination and the erasure of a culture.
