Event – Midi minuit

Full of poetry and through many disciplines, Midi Minuit’s second edition wants to build bridges and honor West African artists. A time of sharing and discovery, this festival’s purpose is to be an oasis of creation and reflection with Les Récréâtrales and with Les Ateliers de la pensée, workshops created by Senegalese economist, poet and thinker Felwine Sarr.

Felwine Sarr, Véronique Tadjo, Ken Bugul and many others. Poets, directors, scenographers, actors, film-makers and digital artists will present and share their work, from noon to nighttime.

Soirée Partage hoted by Kouam Tawa

Started in 2014 as part of the Festival Récréâtrales in Ouagadougou, Soirée Partage put the poet, the thinker, and the artist at the heart of the city. They are experiments in new forms of theatre, the springboard for a participatory democracy and the creating of multiplicious critical thinking on contemporary African society and its future.

Spaces for collective thought, for encounters and for public debating, the Evenings of Sharing embody the spirit of traditional gatherings and the philosophy of verbal exchanges.
