Audition / Workshop
For experienced dancers
11 & 12 juin 2024 at La Raffinerie – Bruxelles
In partnership with Charleroi Danse
Performance artist, dancer and choreographer Zora Snake is currently looking for experienced & professional artists for his next creation, Combat des Lianes, produced by the Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles.
Coproduction Charleroi Danse, Julidans, Theater Freiburg, in progress.
Zora Snake is looking for professional dancers and performers aged between 25 and 35, from all backgrounds, living in Belgium, with solid experience in urban dance and strong skills in improvisation.
The performers must be fully available for creation from end January 2025, according to the following timeline:
Creation schedule
- 27 January > 9 February 2025 – R&D residency in Cameroun
- 26 May > 13 June 2025 – rehearsals at Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles
- 25 August > 22 September 2025 – rehearsals at Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles
- 23 September > 4 October 2025 – world premiere at Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles
Touring period in 2025-2026
- from 5 October 2025 > 10 November 2025
- May – June – July 2026
The audition will take place on Tuesday 11 June & Wednesday 12 June 2024
at La Raffinerie – Brussels, in partnership with Charleroi Danse
Audition is by invitation only and dancers shortlisted for the second day will be informed of this decision at the end of the first audition/workshop day.

- attach a CV or biography
- add the link of one recent performance video in the assigned field of the application form. The video must not exceed 5 minutes and must be good quality. Please make sure it includes performance footage as well as improvisation footage. You must be clearly and completely visible. If there are other performers in the film, make sure you give clear indications of who you are and the section you perform in the assigned “Notes” field on the application form.
Applications will close on Sunday 5 May 2024.
